This is my first time purchasing a wetsuit and was referred to this company. Incredible purchase. This thing looks sweet and feels great. Will definitely be a return customer
3/2 chest zip M
I have had multiple other types of yamamoto suits since 2009, I thought I'd give this one a shot. This suit is by far the stiffest suit, especially around the shoulder chest area where the zipper is. Ive noticed chest zips are generally more stiff around the zipper area, but this suit is a little more than normal. I am also a bit thinner than the stock medium size so it wasn't a tight fitting issue. Other than the stiffness the price is pretty unbeatable for a limestone neoprene suit... plus free shipping.
Better than expected
Just got to try it out today, way better than expected. Neoprene feels great, stitching looks and feels solid. Super flexible material in comparison to other brands in the price range. Felt no restriction in movement. Super warm without feeling like I was overheating in direct sunlight. Only downside is the neck is a little too big. But that’s most likely just a personal thing. Looking forward to hopefully get a few seasons out of it. Will definitely be testing out their other products.
Not bad for a no frills suit that has chest zip. I found brand name 3/2 suits with back zip for the same price.
So far so good
Yeah guys Loving my new 3/2 so far. I like the pattern you guys used for your panels. Fits well. Although after a few long sessions this past week I was beginning to chafe in my armpits. I’m 5’9” 178lbs longer torso/shorter legs. I bought a size M. Hoping the suit will break in enough to stop chafing my pits or I’ll have to go a size up on the next one.
