I’ve had my 2.5mm for 4 or 5 summer seasons. Still great condition, however looking to update. I was able to surf from spring, summer though to Easter in this suit before pulling out a full steamer, and I usually feel the cold!

Shame it looks like they’ve now gone down to 2mm, as 2.5mm made a huge difference for me and doesn’t look like any other brands do it so was a competitive advantage.

Don’t trust the size calculator

I recently bought a needessentials wetsuit online. I used the size calculator but when it arrived and I tried it on, it is one size too small. I added a couple of extra kilos to my weight when using the calculator to be safe but even then I struggle to get into it, breathe, and need help to get out of it. It appears to be a good wetsuit and the speed of service was excellent, but I now own a great wetsuit that is unusable. When using the size calculator I suggest you go one size up or try before you buy.

Got 3 seasons out of it

Got 3 seasons out of this wetsuit. That's awesome considering I surf 4+ times a week. Cheers.
